What our customers say
Read reviews from 40+ Palm Coast and Flagler County homeowners who trust Christian for water heaters, repairs, filtration and repipes.
Christian arrived in a timely manner and evaluated the problem that I had. He offered his solution, that I agreed with, and he fixed it on the spot. You can't ask for more than that!
Christian has done a few plumbing jobs for me. The last job was replacing the garbage disposal. His crew came out today to fix a loud clanking noise. There was a screw in a "pocket" that I could not feel when I checked for something stuck. No charge! Christian's other plumbing jobs were done quickly and professionally.
We contacted Christian about a broken line from our water heater. He sent Paul out right away to assess the situation. Paul arrived the next morning to install the new water heater. He was awesome; explained everything he was doing, worked efficiently, cleaned up the entire area and made sure that the job was done right.
Chris and his helper were a pleasure to deal with. Prompt and did outstanding work. His prices were reasonable. He sent an itemized invoice describing the work and price before they came out. There were no surprises. I had him repair a shower faucet, outside faucets and toilet. He also installed a garbage disposal.
Christian at Florida Plumbing & Inspection is fantastic! He is a professional that knows what he is doing. He has done several projects for us. He is always on time, knowledgeable, professional, neat, dependable and very pleasant. He installed a water filtration system at two of our homes, as well as other plumbing work.
Contacted Christian regarding a water heater upgrade/repair required by an insurance company. He responded immediately and the work was performed the very next day, complete with photos of the completed work. Awesome service. Highly recommend Florida Plumbing & Inspection for all your plumbing needs.
What a relief it is to find honest and capable professionals for your home. Alex and Christian installed a new whole house water system, and also installed release valves in our tankless water heater (which our builder plumber had neglected to do).
Christian just installed a new Rheem heat pump water heater. He is a real gentleman and master plumber. Third time I have hired him. He has done a excellent job. I highly recommend him.

Why does my toilet bubble when the shower runs?
If your toilet gurgles or bubbles when the shower or washing machine drains, the blockage is almost never in the toilet. It is in the main drain line downstream of both fixtures, or the vent stack on the roof is blocked. Water from the shower pushes air back through the nearest open trap, which is the toilet.
In Palm Coast this usually means one of three things: roots from palms or oaks growing into an older clay or cast-iron line (common in Palm Harbor, Indian Trails and Pine Lakes homes built in the 1970s and 80s), a grease-and-wipes build-up, or a sagging "bellied" section of pipe. I clear the main through the outside clean-out with a cable machine. If the same line clogs twice, I run a camera before recommending anything else. If your home doesn't have an outside clean-out, I can add one — that's the Fallon Ln job in the photo.
What kind of clog do you have?
| What you're seeing | Where the problem is | What I do |
|---|---|---|
| One sink or tub is slow, everything else is fine | A local clog in that fixture's trap or branch line | Cable that line from the fixture — 30 to 45 minutes |
| Toilet bubbles when the shower or washer runs | Main drain line downstream of both | Cable the main through the outside clean-out |
| Everything backs up at the lowest drain (shower or tub) | Main line or sewer lateral is blocked | Main line cabling; camera if it has happened before |
| Gurgling plus a sewer smell | Partial blockage, or a blocked roof vent | Clear the line, check the vent |
| Wet spot or sinkhole in the yard over the line | A broken or collapsed pipe, not a clog | Locate it, dig, repair or replace the section |
Drain work I do in Palm Coast
I don't sell hydro-jetting to every customer or camera every drain. I clear the clog you have, tell you honestly whether it will come back, and only recommend more when the line has earned it.
Kitchen sink and disposal drains
Grease, coffee grounds and disposal build-up in the branch line under the kitchen. Cleared from under the sink or the wall clean-out, and I rebuild bad P-traps while I'm there.
Bathroom sinks, tubs and showers
Hair and soap scum in the trap and the first few feet of pipe. I also replace corroded tub drains and overflows instead of just clearing them again next month.
Toilets
Closet-auger clogs, and the ones an auger can't fix — a cracked flange, a wax ring leak, or a toilet that needs to come off to clear a lodged object.
Main line cabling
A 100-foot cable machine through the outside clean-out. Cuts roots and pushes through grease and wipes. This is the fix for a whole-house backup.
Camera inspection — when it earns its keep
I run a camera when a line clogs a second time, before a repipe or a home purchase, or when I suspect a broken pipe. Not on every call.
Clean-out installation and cap repair
No outside clean-out? I'll add one so the next clog is a 45-minute job instead of a toilet-pull. Broken caps replaced the same visit.

Why Palm Coast drains clog
Palm Coast was laid out by ITT in the 1970s, and thousands of homes in Palm Harbor, Indian Trails, Pine Lakes and Belle Terre still have their original cast-iron or clay drain lines. Cast iron scales and narrows from the inside; clay joints let roots in. Add sandy soil that shifts, palms and live oaks hunting for water, and the "flushable" wipes that aren't, and you have the three causes of nearly every main-line call I get.
- Roots: I cut them with the cable and tell you honestly if the line needs a camera and a plan.
- Grease and wipes: cabled out; a quick lesson on what not to put down the disposal.
- Bellies and breaks: a clog that comes back every few months is usually a pipe problem, not a drain problem. See the repipe page.
Hurricane season matters too — heavy rain saturates the ground and a lateral with a small crack starts taking on water and sand. If your drains slow down every summer, that's the reason.

Drain questions
Because the main drain line below both fixtures is partly blocked and shower water is pushing air back up through the toilet's trap. It's a main-line clog, not a toilet problem, and it needs to be cabled through the outside clean-out.
Almost always. A cable machine through the outside clean-out reaches 100 feet toward the street. Digging is only needed when the camera shows a collapsed or broken section, and I'll show you the footage before we talk about that.
Please don't. Chemical openers rarely clear a real clog, they damage older cast-iron pipe, and they sit in the standing water where I have to work. A plunger is fine; if that doesn't do it, text me.
A single fixture runs about $150–$250 and a main line through the clean-out about $275–$450. I quote a flat price by text before I come; every visit starts with a $96 service call that goes toward the work.
Yes, and I'll tell you when it's worth it: a line that has clogged more than once, a home you're about to buy, or a suspected break. I record the run and send you the video.
Yes. Flagler Beach and the Hammock are ten minutes from my shop and Bunnell is fifteen. Same flat pricing as Palm Coast.
Kitchen lines clog on grease and coffee grounds, bathroom lines on hair and soap scum, and main lines on tree roots and wipes. In older Palm Coast neighborhoods the original cast-iron under-slab drains also rust from the inside, so the pipe gets rough and catches everything. A camera tells me which one you're dealing with.
A slow drain is the early warning. What's building up on the pipe wall keeps building until the day it closes off completely — usually with the house full of guests. Clearing it while it's slow is a routine cable job; clearing it after it backs up into the tub is a mess, and sometimes a repair.
Clear it first, every time. Most drains are cleaned with a cable or a jetter and stay clear for years. I only recommend a repair or a repipe when the camera shows a cracked, collapsed or rusted-through pipe that no amount of cleaning will fix — and then I show you the footage before we talk about it.
If a drain I cleared backs up again within 30 days, I come back and clear it at no charge. If it's a root or broken-pipe issue that cleaning can't solve, I'll tell you that on the first visit rather than keep charging you to cable it.

Where I clear drains
Palm Coast and every section of it — Palm Harbor, Indian Trails, Pine Lakes, Seminole Woods, Lehigh Woods, Matanzas Woods, Grand Haven, Cypress Knoll — plus Flagler Beach, the Hammock, Beverly Beach, Marineland and Bunnell. Ormond Beach and the St. Augustine beaches for main-line and repeat customers. For an active backup, call or text and I'll tell you the earliest I can be there.
